Indeed AM Log Server a web application based on IIS. This module provides for centralized event collection and audit of the system.

Fault tolerance

If LogServer is not available, the events are cached to a local folder at  Indeed AM server.

Note

The information of LogServer unavailability is displayed in Windows Event Viewer, “Application” tab. Event code: 500. Text: Log server client fluentSchedulerBackgroundLoaderTask. Iteration WEB exception: Operation timeout.

Path to event folder is defined in the configuration file of Indeed server named Web.config,  "logServerClient” tag, "EventCacheDirectory” parameter (default value is: ./EventCache ). The interval of logs transmission after LogServer operability is restored, is defined by "logServerClient” tag, "EventCacheSendingIntervalSec” parameter ( default value is  600 seconds).

Note

It is not recommended to set the "EventCacheSendingIntervalSec" parameter to a value less than 30 seconds.
